Check your 9-1-1 GIS data against NENA

Drop in your road centerlines and address points, and optionally your MSAG and ALI. You get a cited picture of how ready your data is for NG9-1-1, checked against NENA-STA-006.3-2026, in minutes. No Esri license needed, and your files never leave your computer.

How it works

  1. Load your data. Files are read in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
  2. Phase 1: ready to validate. The tool confirms each dataset has the elements the checks need and maps to its NENA standard.
  3. Phase 2: the checks. Attributes, address ranges, duplicate address points, MSAG to GIS, and ALI to GIS.
  4. Your readiness snapshot. See it on screen, with up to two example records for each non-conformance. To email yourself the same snapshot, add your details at that step.

One snapshot per email address. You can load data and run the checks as many times as you like before you send it, for example after fixing a field mapping. Emailing the snapshot is what uses it.

1 Load your data

Every dataset is optional; load what you have. Checks for anything you don't load show as "Not checked," never as passed. Files are read here in your browser, in the background, and are never uploaded.

Your files stay on your computer. If you email yourself the snapshot, up to two example records per non-conformance are included.

What this is, and isn't. A self-assessment against NENA documents. It isn't a state, NGCS provider, or vendor validation, and it doesn't predict any validator's results, since tolerances and rules vary. Each finding shows its test and the NENA section it rests on, or says plainly that it's a data quality check with no NENA requirement behind it. Reference lists (street types, counties, and other domains) are a snapshot as of October 6, 2026.
Exactly what's sent when you email yourself the snapshot

Only this leaves your browser, and our server rejects anything else:

  • Your name, title, work email, organization, and whether you ticked the box to talk with us
  • The tool version, the reference snapshot date, the run time, when you ran it, and your time zone
  • Phase 1 status for each dataset, and the ID, dataset, and NENA field name of any Phase 1 issue
  • How many records each dataset holds, and the name of each GIS layer's coordinate system
  • The verdict, the four question statuses, the key-number totals, the match rates, and the ALI research counts
  • For each non-conformance: the check ID, layer, area, NENA field names, count, and percent of records
  • For checks against a fixed list (parity, country, state, county, directionals, street types, placement, validation, and similar) and for placeholder values: up to 20 distinct invalid values per non-conformance, each 10 characters or fewer, such as "RD" or "N/A"
  • Up to two example records per non-conformance (for unmatched ALI records, two for each likely cause), each with only the four columns the snapshot shows: record ID, feature label, value, and what we saw. Examples build your email and are then discarded; they're never logged or stored.

Never sent: coordinates, geometry, files, ALI telephone numbers, or customer names.
